Rotten Tomatoes Agent [request filled]

I am in the same situation here. I installed the Rotten Tomatoes agent and listed it just beneath Local Media Assets in the list of agents for Freebase. But, I am uncertain if is is doing anything as I have not seen any difference to new media being added to my collection. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone have this working?

This is a known problem. At the moment we’re hitting our rate limit for Rotten Tomatoes very quickly, every day. After we’ve used up our allowed number of API calls, the agent doesn’t get any usable data back and can’t contribute any metadata. It has our attention and we’re thinking of ways to solve this, but I can’t give any time frame.

Would love to see this work. Also would love to see trailers.

Have you already had your limit increased?

The .plexapp files don't work for us windows users. Is there any way someone can post a windows-compatible RT plugin?

I have PMS on a windows 7 server, please help me figure out how to install .plexapp , my system does not recognize the file extention.

You can install this agent from the Channel Directory. The .plexapp files you find in this topic are old.

Any updates on this?

Is this the one just labeled "Rotten Tomatoes"? When I looked under metadata agents I didn't see the agent but it does show up as a way for watching trailers.

You can install the Rotten Tomatoes agent through the Channel Directory. It's under More...Metadata Agents (it doesn't have an icon yet).

And how will I know that this, once installed is working?

It won't work. Read the posts from January. There is a rate limit on RT that Plex hits on a daily basis, and when it does, the agent doesn't get any metadata. Since this hasn't been fixed since back in January, I would consider this metadata agent to be dead.

Sad face. Thanks very much for getting back to me though

Hi

You can just get your own API key for the trafic -  but for some reason it I cant get it to work as I want I to, even though I just changed the API key in the bundle file.

How about making the API Key a configurable parameter of the agent?  That way , each user can have their own.

Any progress on this?
