In researching how to get Rotten Tomatoes scores on my Apple TV, I found multiple references to the official RT metadata agent available in the channel directory. I can’t find that channel, been looking for a bit now. The old RT plugin is removed from Github too.
Can anyone point me at that channel?
As an aside, I’ve moved Freebase above TMDB as directed elsewhere, forced refresh, and still the wrong scores.
OK, today I’ve found a small subset of my movies do have the popcorn bucket icon and a score, although it’s neither the tomatometer score nor the audience score on netflix. My iOS app does have an arrow that takes me to reviews from RT. So, progress but I am somewhat confused by my mixed results.
I don’t use Apple TV, but I was able to show RT ratings on my Roku by simply moving Freebase to the top and updating the movie library. I’m not sure why that worked for me and not you though.
