I have seen several posts, but none of them ever seem to get a final response related to ratings not being properly sent by Plex. I (unlike a lot of people) do like the Rotten Tomatoes rating…but am finding it is NEVER updated by Plex at their end. The problem isn’t my server…it is Plex mother ship not updating their OWN data. Wondering if there is any “formal” process to get Plex to update metadata on movies (ie. if you send a request to this link at watch.plex.tv it will repull the ratings).
For instance:
RAGING BULL
PLEX: https://watch.plex.tv/movie/raging-bull
RT: https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/raging_bull
IMDB and TMDB ratings are showing…but not a RT/Audience, but clearly it has enough reviews/scores that it should. I have about 20 other items where a RT score doesn’t show up, and others where the RT score is wrong…but figured I would just start with a big example first.
