it seems to have happened to a few of the more recent films I’ve added to the server. As you can see from my agent settings everything seems to be set accordingly:
I have tried the plex dance and this has not resolved it. I have tried a test library as well. I’ve ran out of ideas and I’m hoping someone on here can help resolve this issue for me.
This goes for RT ratings too. And TMDB movie agent instead of Plex movie agent, does not fix it either. Might as well save the time debugging.
@trumpy81 What do you mean the devs are aware / will fix it soon? Sounds awesome, but. If they cared, surely they would have run an update on the darn meta.plex.tv server ages (years?) ago? The issue is well documented to be on Plex’ side. And has a mountain of posts over years… Along with mountains of (paying) users spending hours and days debugging.
I have not seen a single reply from a Plex staffer. Which honestly makes me sad.
And. I get the thing about bugs. Seriously. I do. I manage a support team at a PAAS provider.
However… Paying customers are people too. With jobs and lives. Just as Plex’ staff. Might make sense to at least respect peoples time and document the brokenness. And/or reply to them, even! At least make it look like they give a sh*
Not just because this is paying customers (although I see no signs this has value here either). Simply because it’s the decent thing to do.
Why we are all still here and even paying to be treated like this, is beyond me… But it’s a lot of work to move provider.
