So i had Plex running on Synology DSM 7.2 and Windows 10 fine for months but then my windows started playing up so i’ve reinstalled Windows. Now my issue is after reinstalling the PMS on windows and logging in, only the Synology server shows up and the content is from that device, i can’t even add the content on my main pc cause it only sees it’s own volume structure and opening on the PC just opens the webpage for the synology version.
Any ideas, i’m losing patience and feeling very feeble.

Did you complete the server setup after reinstalling PMS on your PC?
In order to complete the setup you need to open your Plex Media Server through its local IP.
If you’re on the same machine… open http://127.0.0.1:32400/web in your browser. If you’re on a different machine inside your home network, use http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web instead (where PMS IP refers to the PC‘s IP address). This will bring up a wizard/dialog where you can name your server and link it to your Plex account (as well as creating your first libraries).
Thank you for responding, yes i did that but the browser regardless links to the Synology even tho it’s a different ip address. It doesnt give the option to setup it just goes to here’s plex.
But i inadvertantly discovered that i must’ve created two accounts so i didn’t have to use plex pass for multiple servers and when i login to plex through my google login which is different HEY PRESTO they are both there.
