I’ve been googling for a topic on Running Rasplex on a 7’ Touchscreen also mirroring to the TV via the HMDI port.
I know you can use the tv by default. The reason for me wanting a feature:
My son is mentally challenged. Noting I can do about it. I can try to help him by making things work
on a level he can understand. He can use Plex via a tablet and via a web browser. He has dropped my tablet. Now it looks like someone played spiderman on my screen. We live in South Africa. Most of the nice toys are imports.
If he was able to have a fixed point, rasplex running on a raspberry pi with a touchscreen mounted to a wall, desk. (point being, not movable). He could select the kids shows or videos of his choice without dropping the screen.
Rasplex works great as a client. He’s struggling to grasp the concept of using a remote.
If there are ideas out there, please share. I’ll try them if it is in my capability.
