Same channel fails to load from the guide when switching to another Apple TV app then coming back to Plex

Steps to reproduce in Apple TV (Note: This only happens when using the channel guide in Apple TV). I am not able to re-produce this issue with other platforms:

  1. Open the channel guide and select a channel. Wait for the content to appear.
  2. Switch to another Apple TV app.
  3. Re-open Plex
  4. Go back to the same channel that you were watching in step 1 from the channel guide.
  5. You will now notice the circle progress indicator spinning and never loads the content.
  6. To watch that same channel again you have to select a different channel from the guide and then go back to it.

Other notes:

  1. This bug does not occur when re-producing the above steps using the recent channels method.
  2. If I completely close out of the Plex app I can access the same channel from the guide and the content loads.
  3. I also provided the Plex logs from Apple TV.
