Well 6 months now and still, on the newest Apple TV all up to date, running Plex on Linux all-up-date. I cannot scroll down on the channel guide menu! I am starting to think NONE of the developers have Apple TV as there is ongoing issues, some for 4 years now. I can’t rewind after a new program starts, hoses everything, that has been 4 years now. I don’t get it. again does any of the programmers have Apple TV? there are lots of issues! No, that’s the only explanation that this would be going on this long! so frustrating if the “Channel Guide” is NEVER going to work why have it there?
Six months can’t scroll down most of the time. so frustrating!
FYI: on apple TV I have to completely close and open several times a day, That is normal for Apple TV on PLEX and it shouldn’t be this way. I have been using Apple TV’s for 6 years now and that is the normal daily procedure to get PLEX to keep working on Apple TV. FYI, this does not happen on any other devises!
I also restart/reboot my ATV daily for Plex to work properly… in my case, new content added to libraries doesn’t sync until ATV is restarted. ATV is the ONLY client that needs rebooting btw, all other devices sync fine on their own.
I am a IT pro for 33 years, running on Linux Dabin 11 all updated weekly. this is the same on all apple TV 4, all gens. it happens on a regular basis. Just like I can NEVER rewind after the show changes to a new show. I can only rewind if I close and start at the hour and I have rewind for that program, but once it changes to a new program, I can no longer rewind without it hosing everything, it goes back hours, this has also been like this for years… I have completely reinstalled several times this is not on my end.
