Anyone knows why only a few trailers are being shown over and over, even though I have several hundres of local trailers stored along the movie. They are all named Trailer-trailer.xxx.

They do show up on the main movie pages. But if it is necessary to refresh the whole library how come that some trailers show without this procedure? They also show up immetiately as trailer when I rename to the correct syntax.

Going to the preplay screen of a movie will trigger a search for local assets, like trailers, extras and external subtitles. But only for this one movie and not for all of them.

Okay, so local trailers from the movies I entered the preplay screen for should be used for premovie trailer playback?

Plex will restrict it’s selection of trailers to those, which have a fitting “age rating”. To prevent a trailer for a horror movie to be played in front of a “family entertainment” movie. Is there somehow to change this “age rating” setting so that all available trailers are considered no matter what type of main movie is chosen?

I have now tried to refresh all metadata and it indeed seems that more trailers are recognized now. Anyway after updating many of the movie posters have changed to are more “complex” look with more text like actors and so on. It was much better with a more simplified look before. Okay thanks. Is it possible to refresh metadata just to recognize the trailers without refreshing posters?
