As I said you must exit for it to default to next episode or you use virtual control under the timeline >I . Back in your case is just that, brings you back not forward.
I do understand how it works today, I’m asking for it to work a bit differently
My use case is: watching through >1 episode and accidentally hitting ‘back’. if I press ‘play’ right away again, it doesn’t restart where I left off…I have to remember how far along I was, navigate over to that episode, and then I can press play. I’m asking for that to be made a bit better
While what you say is useful, you don’t have to remember anything, there’s an orange triangle marking and the orange seekbar, showing that an episode is already seen.
Actually, I’m the new UI (I’m on 5.1.3) it’s quite hard to tell what has been watched or not.
The orange seek bar is barely visible and doesn’t show up on an episode until you scroll over to it, add the orange triangle disappears as soon as you scroll onto an episode and doesn’t come back until you back out. It’s also not selecting the latest unwatched even when I back out completely and go into a season.
So… perhaps a few other UI bugs to work out in addition to my original request
The Season Episode number sits right above the Orange Triangle, making it less visible, maybe the S1 E1 box could be placed on the bottom right instead of the top right. Or move the triangle to the bottom. Just not both on the same corner.
When I go from one episode to the other, just the description, not actually watching it, the triangle goes away., I think it should stay always ON until an episode is actually watched or at least started.
