I have a bunch of raspberry pis with rasplex and one samsung bluray player with the plex app. I use plex for android as a remote control for all devices. The bluray player has randomly stopped showing up as a device on the plex for android app. Im looking for ideas why and how to fix this.
This did happen around the time i updated the plex server on my synology nas although it might be a coincidence. Another strange this is it is showing up as a device to cast to in plex web. Ive played with settings for all devices involved and cannot work it out.
I have the same problem and nothing seems to work. Apps are just disappearing from the list and nothing you do will get them back. Strange thing is that sometimes they do show up in certain apps.
I first used plex media player to fling to another plex media player but out of a sudden it stopt showing up. I tried the windows uwp app to fling to the plex media player and it did show up again. So now i am stuck in only using the windows uwp app to fling.
Yeah it’s so annoying. Sorry, what’s the window uwp? Is that the Plex web?
