Samsung OS update for The Frame 2023 32 model partially breaks audio streaming

Samsung provided an update to the TV in question within the last 24hrs and this has led to the TV unable to playback FLAC files from libraries. MP3 files work. This is a change of functionality from before the update.

From the server console at the time:

DEBUG - [Req#461] [Now] Device is Tizen (TV 2023).
ERROR - [Req#461] Unable to find client profile for device; platform=Tizen, platformVersion=9, device=23_KSUE_FTV_T09, model=QE32LS03CBUXXU

I don’t know yet the details well of how client profiles work, but could this be the case that the update changed how the client reports itself and it no longer aligns with currently defined profiles? eg, no longer matching either Samsung, Samsung Tizen, or Samsung SmartTV?

Haven’t had time to test video formats either yet.

Yes I confirmed this in another post, tizen 9 is not supported by plex and will not stream audio and video in most cases

With a week gone by, I’d like to know if there’s more information needed to resolve the problem, or if the problem’s been acknowledged at all.

Not acknowledged, issue is still present my post is just speculation. Would like an actual analysis by an employee ideally.

If we could get the smart tv logs from after reproducing the issue so i can add to report it would be appreciated.

Log for the period of time the client in question fails to play flac audio on the TV.
