Any FLAC music file I try and play via Plex on my Samsung tv just fails straight away. The tv shows the message “An unexpected playback problem occurred”
The server logs have these errors:
Error issuing curl_easy_perform(handle): 60
Unable to find client profile for device; platform=Tizen, platformVersion=6, device=21_NIKEM2_QTV, model=QE55Q80AATXXU
Session 0x7f69d2001618 terminated
How do I resolve the issue? I Assumed if the TV could not play FLAC then it would simply transcode the file?

I have the exact same issue on my Samsung QLED.
I just installed plex on my Samsung Tizen (2021 model) smart tv. I logged my gf in to my server and then tried to play some music but it just throws an unexpected playback error msg. It can play movies and tv series but no music ( all my music is flac). this only happens at this device.

any update from Plex on this? Only way I can get it to play is have direct play disabled.
