Samsung Plex App does not show Live TV / DVR Option

I have just upgraded to a Plex Pass so I can take advantage of Live TV fully through Plex (no more WMC). On my Android app on my cell and my personal laptop, no issues access Live TV function but my Samsung TV Plex App does not give me the option (no issue playing recorded/saved content from my Plex Media Server). Is there any way at all I can update Plex on my TV to see Live TV? If no, what other App would work best for me to watch live TV from this Samsung device?

What samsung? Samsung tvs before 2016 dont support plex tv features

Thank you for the quick replies. I do understand it’s an pre-‘16 TV but it’s a great 65’ curved Samsung. If there are no go-to Smarthup apps then I assume the best backup is Chromecast maybe?

I wouldn’t say “best”, (unless you really mean “cheapest”).
Roku, nVidia Shield or the newer FireTV 4K and Chromecast 4K are all worthy contenders.
