Samsung Smart Hub Plex integration dead as of latest version

This is in relation to the stuck smart hub the other issue that hijacked this thread?

The original issue with the Smart Hub.

Same problem, smart hub not updating.

Well, in my case, because I uninstalled and reinstalled the Plex app on my 2017 Samsung TV, thinking it would fix the problem, there is no “Continue Watching” on the TV’s Smart Hub whatsoever, only the Plex Icon.

Before I do the process, it was stuck at always showing the same old list.

This problem exists from around the time this topic was created.

Problem’s been found and fixed, an update should hopefully make it in the next release, if not it’ll be in the one after. It’ll be in the release notes either way.

Maybe inform Spotify what the solution was, same issue there now…

Have to go to settings> Advanced> allow insecure settings, prefer insecure settings. Set to “ALWAYS”
