I’m a newbie. Can anyone tell me where to find a DLNA Profile for a 2012 Samsung Smart TV and what to do with it so I can play videos on my TV via DLNA without transcoding?
Set up these ports as described on your PMS and enable the DNLA on your server and it should catch it.

I have a Samsung TV UE40D5000. The thing is that one cabel goes to router, from there one cabel to wd mycloud home duo (plex dlna server). TV can access from its menu, but when I try to open the folder with many movies it is frozen and disconnected. Do you experienced such?
ON plex dlna is enabled.
Do you get the same behaviour if you connect from a different DLNA Client?
If you do, its your MyCloud Home Duo that probably the cause
If not, its more likely the TV…assume its upto date.

Maybe the TV. Its more than 8 years old samsung
