Server Version#: Windows 1.15.3.876
Player Version#: Samsung 2.012
Hello everyone,
Following a reset of my SAMSUNG UE65JU6400 TV, I was forced to reinstall the PLEX app (version 2.012) from the SMART HUB.
So far so good …
My problem is that by default it is in English and when I go in “Preferences->Menu->Language” to change the language it says to me: “Unable to access translations, please try again later”.
Does anyone have any info on this?
Knowing that my TV has good internet access …
Another problem (maybe related or not …), when I watch a movie and I stop it, I see that I stopped watching at 34min15s (for example) but when I want to resume, the film starts again from the beginning…
Is there any way to manually change the language having a .json file in the installed Plex app in a Samsung TV? I’m looking for the .json file for Spanish, but even if i find it, I don’t know how to get that installed in the Plex app…
And another question: with the “2.012 fixed” you mean that it can resume the video file from the moment you stopped watching it, instead of the beginning? I have had the 2.012 version installed from long ago, and that issue wasn’t present till a few days ago, so I don’t think it’s a bug in the Plex client installed on the Samsung TV, but a bug in the Plex server installed on the PC (like that old one that did not let you erase files); I’m waiting for a new Plex server update to see if the problem disappears…
Hello,
I have a Samsung from H series (UE40H7000) and I’m looking for the Spanish translation too.
However, even if I find the .json file, I’m in in the same situation as maortrol, I don’t know how to copy the file. Is there a way to install an App from USB in a Smart Hub?
It would be nice if Orca or Samsung release one last version including the different available languages.
