I’ve been using Plex Since 2015 and never experienced this problem before, yesterday before the update i was able to search for subtitles in my preferred language on my Samsung Tv, but when i updated to the 5.1.0 today, my TV would ignore all my settings and only search for English subtitles no matter what i do.
yes me too i cant select my language for movies only english … the version before was great …
all the setting are gone … hope they fix that
+1, can only search for english subtitles, cannot change the language setting or the search name.
I can go to my PC and open the server and go to whatever movie or tv show i want and choose the subtitles language there and than go to the tv and the subtitle i chose would automatically be chosen on the tv, I guess I’ll keep doing this until they fix the issue

Not only this, but I can no longer type in what to search for if there are no results.

I had this issue in my LG TV , launch plex app then press on your username to access the settings finally select leave early access

Same issue on my TV… really annoying when old settings stop working
Same issue here. The problem occurs both on Samsung Tizen and LG WebOS.

Worked for me at Samsung TV.
Now I can select my preferred subtitle language.
Plex development team please fix this in the new release! Now it it grayed out and only set to English…
