Samsung TV plays videos Ok with audio but won't play music from local server

I have a Samsung smart TV with the downloaded Plex app. I have a QNAP server on the same network. I can play movies with audio but music files will not play. It’s NOT there is no audio, it just doesn’t play. The counter is stuck on zero. I can advance and find another song but nothing will play. I can play the music from other clients. I’m not sure even where to start.
