Samsung TV Plex App Resets Completely on no Internet

I have a local network that I use Plex on.
When there is an internet outage all my devices still work 100%, but my main TV has Samsung Series 7 now can no longer function with plex if there is no internet connection. I get a sign in page and can not get any further than that till internet service is restored which often times can take werks. Problem is once service is restored I have to relink TV via https://www.plex.tv/link/ and all settings and changes made to the app is back to default. This is super annoying if line quality is bad for short periods of time.

Being in a rural location I dont have alternate options for internet, and I use plex exclusively with content from my local network server.

This is a recent development and only affect this particular TV. Followed various topics and advice but no joy.

a perfect example of why buying a plex pass, needless to say a lifetime membership is a perfectly good waste of money. F-All support for bugs created with new “features”
