Playing remote video stream gives an error.
A workaround is is to disable secure connection.
Preferences > System > ensure “Use Secure Connections” is set to “Disabled”
Is there another solution ?
Important information about Plex for smart TVs after September 30, 2021
If you want to use secure communications you will need to use a streaming device - Nvidia Shield, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon FireStick, etc.
It’s such pitty from those manufacturers not updating thier platforms.
I’ll use a Chromecast with Google TV with the Plex App on it and it runs great.
