@jwaltrip4 Plex for Samsung (2016+ UHD televisions)

Thanks… Done…

Finaly… Uno on all my clients

@warham30 Sorry it does not have it yet. I do not have an ETA.

Any update on this?

There is not, sorry.

After 2 months… can we hope to have guide for samsung?

I’ll admit to being curious as to what sort of guide you are looking for. ???

Check the tag… i’m talking about the samsung app… still no guide with uno …

Does Guide equate to User Manual? If that’s the case, you can’t write a user guide for a unified interface until such time as the interface has been developed such that it works the same on all platforms. To date, some platforms appear to be farther along than others and, perhaps, all have a ways to go until feature-complete enough for written documentation.

TV Guide…

Ohhh… a guide for live TV.

Got there in the end.

Is there any update on this. Love the interface for Apple TV but would like to see it on the Samsung TV app as well.

Plex doesn’t typically post roadmaps or ETAs. You’ll just have to keep an eye out for the release announcement.

Thanks

A guide would be a great addition to the UI for watching livetv/dvr on the my Samsung. The TCL roku tv’s have this option and it is a much easier to navigate what is on and coming up. Any update or information on this would be greatly appreciated.

The tv grid guide is essential for the samsung app.

I have a shield and an apple tv. Both work great!

But now i bought a new samsung for in the bedroom, thought i’d have the same interface with the uno GUI…

It was a big bummer that the grid guide was missing…

This is a missing feature. Please put it higher on the priority list?

The Live TV and DVR section of the Samsung TV App needs a Grid Guide section just like virtually every other client application. If anyone has more than 20 channels, it’s impossible to realistically use the “On Now” section. The logic that decides what should be at the front of the list is not sufficiently usable. A Grid Guide solves the problem!

Thank you to the development community that makes this all work!!!
