Samsung TV UNO : Where's the guide?

Seeing as the mobile app recently got a guide is there any chance the samsung tv app will see it soon?

Add me to the list. Really NEED a guide on the Samsung TV. It’s a pain to switch to apple tv or firestick when the TV I purchased should be capable of handling a TV guide.

Noticed tonight that not only do I not have the guide but the “What’s on” tab doesn’t even show what’s currently on just what’s starting soon. If I click the channel I want to go to it won’t tune into the channel. Total crap and unusable at this moment, at least I have it on my phone and can watch from there.

Sounds like you have the beta version of PMS installed? (v.1.18.4). Downgrading to 1.18.3 should help, see this thread:

Any update on this? I really need this feature as I only use my Samsung TV to view Plex. Live TV is a useless feature without a TV Guide.

@Ericharbison_hotmail_com, I have two 2nd Gen 4K Fire TV Sticks and can only get 12 hours of Channel Guide details for my OTA Programs. My Nvidia Shield PRO steaming device gets several days of Channel Guide details.

How many days of Channel Guide details do you get on you Fire TV, and if more than 12 hours, any suggestions of what I need to do to increase Channel Guide details on my devices?

New live TV grid limited to twelve hours

As of November 9, the latest (much more readable) guide now provides only twelve hours of information. Is this an error?

Much like these people waiting for the guide on their Sammies.

Two quick thoughts in response to your inquiry:

1. (Semi-sarcastically) Temporarily switch to Roku, where the full two-week guide’s been available for some time.

2. For both pure Android devices (Shield, etc.) and Fire TVs, Plex’s latest beta appears to restore the full two-week guide. As a beta, though, it has to be grabbed from the Plex site and side-loaded to the Stick or the Shield.

One caution: as of late last week, the then-current beta repeatedly crashed both my Fire Stick and Fire Stick 4K. At this point and for me, the two-week guide isn’t worth this aggravation.

Found a thread saying that PLEX was looking to bring the guide to the Samsung TV app “in a couple of months” that was June 2019. 7 months on and I’m seriously losing faith in PLEX and Emby is starting to look REAL good…

I kinda wonder what is so hard that it seems to be on every other platform except Samsung TVs that I know of.

Another vote here for the Grid. Running a new 65" Samsung QLED… Everything I need is in plex, expect Live grid. Bring it back already.
