As stated, my smart TV does not allow for “Guide” view when I’m watching live TV. Works fine on all of my other devices.
My TV is a Samsung UN55MU6290F.
I’ve already tried reinstalling the app and signing in and out to no avail.
Are you referring to guide or grid guide (i.e. like you’d see on a cable box?)
Yes, exactly.
As far as I know, Grid Guide is in development, based on some of the comments from Plex Team members. No idea what the ETA is. I was having issues too with Samsung Smart TV transcoding live tv when the TV is capable of Direct Playing (Direct Stream) them.

To quote sLumpy from the Samsung TV UNO: Where’s the Guide thread, he said,
“I’m sure it’s been said before, but yes there will be a grid guide. I cannot give an ETA though, but it’ll hit most of our devices once it’s ready.”
That was posted March 25th, 2020. Again, my guess is it may be a while.
