Samsung TV when returns from commercials it starts before it left off

<I am watching a movie. It breaks for commercials. When it returns to the movie after the commercials, it returns to a point which I have already watched. Sometimes it returns to the start of the movie. >

This is really broken. I can’t watch anything on plex. i just deleted the app and reinstalled it. The same thing happens. When I watch it I get a circular icon on the screen(indicating it is buffering) My internet connection tests at about 300Mbs so I don’t think that is the problem.
