Save Settings to the Cloud

It would be nice if Plex Media Server would save its settings to our online Plex accounts so that if we ever need to move machines (I had to do this twice recently), or change servers or whatever, then getting back up and running in no time would be great.

Might be nice if clients saved their settings to the cloud as well.

ehhh, honestly, while I guess it's convienient, anything in the cloud is something someone I don't know can look at...

heck I wish I could do user authentication without plex.tv entirely... if plex the company/website/whatever ever goes away, plex is pretty much useless

on this page the additional settings you need to back up in order to restore the shares and such so plex.tv thinks it is the same server

Just an easy method of backup to start off with would be good!!

Yes I'm aware of these steps.......which is why I'd rather have PMS automatically backing up my settings to the cloud so I don't have to perform any of those steps.   :)
