The current scan function will scan the whole library, we all know it’s too slow for the cloud drive mounted libraries, and alomst all the cloud drives will limit the requests, it’s easily reach the limit and ban your IP for a certain time by the cloud drive providers.
Is it possible to add a option that auto scan the library periodically for the latest numbers of files (such as latest 100 files or folders every 30 min), but not the full mountd disk.
The number and frequency up to the type of library: movie and music maybe different at file quantity.
And you can even add a opention to limit the scan frequency for cloud drive, we can call it cloud drive mode.
