Scan library Files not working in new Plex App

Since the new Plex App when you select Scan Library from the Library on the left nothing happens. Before in the old Media Player App there was a spinning progress wheel, now nothing. Also it doesn’t do anything and I have to wait until the auto background scan happens to see anything.
Is this really such a stupid omission or am I doing something wrong ?

This version seems to be FULL of bugs. I reverted back to the v1966 version, and am still having library issues there as well. The media (posters) are not updating properly. I hope they fix these issues soon!
