i am on the latest server version, internet is good and the hard drive is good also i reopened the page and its the same problem i cant scan my library for the new movies and tv shows i add.

What Plex client are you using - Plex Web, Plex for Windows, Roku stick, etc?
What version of PMS are you running? Available via Authorized Devices.
What is happening with your system:
- You have no option to scan libraries?
- Plex scans libraries but cannot find the media?
- Something else?
Using Plex Web, mouse over a library, then select the three vertical dots on the right. You should see an option to Scan Library (see pic below). What happens when you click it? Plex should begin a scan of that library.
In Plex Media Server → Manage → Libraries, there is a button to Scan Libraries. What happens when you click on it? PMS should begin scanning all your libraries.
In Plex Media Server → Settings → Library, there are settings for Scan my library automatically, Run a partial scan when changes are detected, and Scan my library periodically. Do you have any of those selected? You may have to click “Show Advanced” to see some of the choices.
