I have two HDHomeRun Connect tuners.
1st tuner has 47 channels scanned
2nd tuner has 61 channels scanned.
What’s interesting is that if I delete the 1st tuner and add it back and scan the channels, it initially shows 61 channels, but when the tuner is finally displayed in settings it only shows 47 channels.
I’m wondering if there is a reason why it only shows the 47 and not all 61.
The Connects are running the latest firmware and I’m running the latest Plex server version (this has happened on previous versions too)
Could it be a loose connection or bad cable? Are they both located in the same location on the same splitter? If so have you tried swapping cables on them to see if the other one then shows 47 channels?
Does the HDHomerun Setup app reflect the same results?
The HDHomeRun tuner show 61 channels in its Channel Editor.
What about the HDHomeRun’s web page? Go to www.myhdhomerun.com with a browser on the same subnet as your devices, click on the device, and then go to the Channels page.
Thanks Rodger. going to my.hdhomerun.com showed that I had some channels X’d out. Unchecking those Xs allowed Plex to see all the scanned channels.
