Scanner finding music but not adding them to library

Player Version#: 4.22.2

Plex Media Scanner Matcher finds a couple items but they are never added to the library. It is the same songs over and over again. I’ve tried deleting them (from itunes -> remove download which removes file from disk) and copying them back in but no luck. Other files have () in the names and work fine so I don’t think that is the problem.
