Scanner? Not all Files are showing?

Server Version#: installed yesterday
Player Version#: installed yesterday

So I just noticed that when adding a directory on your PC to Plex it is crucial what settings and what scanner you chose!
I just added a directory and was totally annoyed that on my TV certain files, especially ALL series were NOT showing at all, no matter how often I clicked “scan/synchronise”.
After checking multiple options and all windows and sub-windows I found a scanner-field where you can say how he should handle the directory.

For future, what is recommended to set up and chose when:
A want that media server just to scan every single file that is in the directory no matter what? I have short clips there, mkv files, mp4, its recorded stuff with OBS, its stuff form youtube, its movies, its series, its dokus.
How must I setup it that it will always scann all files that are a video files and not make the problem of not showing on my TV?!

You need to divide your files into different directories, like one for movies, one for shows and one for others

Then create 3 libraries, one for each type, and point them to their relevant directories

Also important, is the naming of the movie and show files
Ref:

Ok, I got your system now a bit.
Kinda something I feared to hear.
Cause for some directories I know this is not gonna happen.

But, what if , as a workaround, I define 3 directories in PLEX, one for each type (movie, show/series, doku) and in each of those I add the two directories I have on my PC?
So plex will search for all movies in A, all shows in B, and all dokus in C?

No such thing as a workaround

You must follow the naming guide and layouts, or errors and problems will happen sooner or later
