screen stays black

Hey Gents,

I have diffrent Rasps here, and I tried diffrent combinations of SD-Cards ans Rasp models. With ALL combinations I ended up in a black screen per HDMI. While booting and while booted. I am spotting now the issue, that it is my screen, because when I change the SD back to another Image, asll is fine. I am using an older Samsung 22" tft monitor. Is that an known issue? Is there a trick I missed? Can I redirect the Framebuffer via SSH maybe? :-)

Look at the section for video, hdmi_drive.

For TV, using HDMI it is set to 2, for monitors connected via DVI, usually it should be set to 1.

You can edit you config.txt, search this forum for how.
