The system was working great on Windows 11 Pro…but when the PC reboots with me not here I wanted Plex server to boot without me having to login to Windows 11 when I am not here.
So followed the instructions about creating a Task so that when Windows boots up Plex does in the background and it WORKS great…
But in the taskbar when I click on Open Plex I get the 401 Unauthorized! So if I go up to the browser and remove part of the address to only http://127.0.0.1:32400/ it shows up fine. Very annoying. Is there an easy step I’m missing?
You need to run PMS as a Windows Service with the help of this utility.
