I created folders for these two shows in my Testing library and, at least initially, they are showing up as separate shows. You might trying adding tmdb hints to help Plex keep them distinct. Scrubs (2001) {tmdb-4556} Scrubs (2026) (tmdb-295778} Probably will need to do a Plex Dance also.

Did you just rename them or did you rename and do the plex dance ? The Plex dance will clean up the database and remove any Scrubs metadata. Sounds like you might have some of the old metadata from when the two shows were combined

Oh, wait, I see what you’re saying. Searching on watch.plex.tv shows 3 Scrubs. 2 for 2001 and 1 for 2026. Yeah, something is goofed up on the Plex backend

I looked on TMDB and It seemed to have the correct TVDB IDs. What is odd is TMDB has an extra episode and it is throwing of the episode numbering of the episodes after it

I removed both of them from my file directory and then added the new scrubs with the tmdb hit on the file name and made sure that was matched to the correct 2026 one and then i added the old scrubs, again with tmbd hint on file name and that seems to have done the job, for how long though who knows. …

I didn’t need to add the TMDB to my folders. All I had to do was go to Scrubs in the Library and select the “Split Apart” option. From there, I just used the “Fix Match” option, and it fixed it in my library.

scrubs 2026 was working fine in plex at least until the 23 march until s01e06 suddenly the whole show is gone plex just shows it as ‘There are no locations currently available for this title.’

Even after i did the plex dance it pulled the metadata - but was locked to tvdb (dvd) which it also denoted didn’t exist - i would be interested in what you guys see on your instances
