I have several SD DVD’s I ripped using pavtube.
I ripped them as original source.
The files play and display as anamorphic widescreen on my desktop.
When I send them to Plex they display as 4:3.
Is there a setting in Plex to switch so it plays SD as widescreen?
Please post the Plex XML info of this item.
If the playback is on the Roku Ultra or Roku Premier then the is a flaw in the Roku firmware where it does not correctly handle anamorphic content. The fix, on those devices for now, is to force transcoding.
Of course if you are not playing on one of those Roku devices then you can ignore this post.
