For example, while browsing Star Trek: Deep Space 9, I click on Alexander Siddig and it shows me that he is only in DS9. But when I browse to 1923 or Game of Thrones and click on his name, it shows me he is in 1923, GoT and Foundation. The actor’s name is spelled correctly and the avatar is the same picture. What gives?

You might need to refresh metadata for DS9 or refresh for entire library. If that show was matched with different agent or have old data, the actor ID might be different. When i click on that actor in my GoT , DS9 shows up as one of his other shows he was in.
That seems to have fixed it, as well as updating the posters. Do I need to manually update the metadata every so often? I’d thought it was an automatic task.
In Scheduled Tasks “refresh Library metadata periodically” normally would but not if the item was using the old agent. A manual refresh for library updates all things to the library default agent
