If I search for “Un village français” or “Engrenages”, I don’t get any results. I have to search by the English title “A French village” or “Spiral” which, in the second case is not a literal translation. It would be nice to be able to search by the original title in addition to the translated title.
On what app are you experiencing this (incl. app and server version)?
I’ve tested this with the hosted version of Plex Web (https://app.plex.tv/desktop) and can find titles based on the library language and original titles.
Not saying it doesn’t happen for you but I cannot reproduce it… so maybe it’s something that has recently been fixed?
Or have you been searching for content that’s not in a local/shared library (e.g. some results from Plex video-on-demand or the universal search)?
