Hi,
I have just installed the DVR function, and so far so good - except I cannot search the guide.
I have already tried the following
*Restarted the server
*Refreshed the guide
*used a different browser
*used incognito mode
and still no results in the search for the Live TV guide.
Can anyone help?
Could you confirm something?
Make sure you are already in the Live TV & DVR library - i.e. click on it in the left side bar.
Clear out the search input field and type in the search term again.
Do you get results in this second attempt?

Yes I am in the Live TV & DVR Library - I’ve just rechecked it, and I am actually getting some results, for example “news” returns a load of results, but other search terms don’t (like University should return “University Challenge” but it doesn’t)
I will optimise the database and see if that helps
Yes, after I optimised the database in Troubleshooting it appears all results are showing up now
Is your server running during the server maintenance hours?
Because a database optimization is performed automatically and daily, during this time.
Yes it runs 24/7 - but I see the database is optimised once per week, and I have only just added Live TV so I assume the database had not been optimised since I had done that and downloaded the guide
Ahh, that explains it, at least partly.
When I first added Live TV, it took about 90 minutes to download the Guide, now it takes about 10 minutes to refresh - I don’t know if that means anything
That sounds like a lot of channels then. The plot thickens.
