I could be mistaken but when searching for actor/actress’ names nothing shows up; same thing for directors. Also, if I create a tag, e.g. Spielberg, under collections, that doesn’t show up either.
Is this normal?
If so, I would like to suggest having the search pick up those areas/names.
I would add : being able to search the descriptions too.
According to this page (https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200890098-Search) the search bar currently only searches titles.
You can, however, filter by actors in a library in the options menu on the left or click on the actors name when your viewing the details of a file.
I agree the search bar at the top should search more though…

@8raveStarr, Thanks for that bit—I’ve done that(filtering) before but it’s not ideal. Hopefully the search will be expanded.
