It is getting even more interesting, the artist I’m looking for is abba;
If I search for abba, nothing shows up
But when I search for abbaa, I get the artist
Also if I search for abb or ab nothing shows up but if I search for abba+‘a letter’ (abbas for example), or just a results start to appear.
Looks like (“ab”, “abb”, “abba”) are doomed ![]()
Of course I did not try all the letters of the alphabet, but this is at least what I am observing.
It makes me doubt more and more the case of a corrupted database. ![]()
I’m naturaly open for any other opinions and discussions.
Edit: if this is not clear enough, I have other cases where I search for artists with 3 or 4 letters and they show up normally, so it is not related to the length of the searching word.
Edit2: aabb works too, this smells like some kind of bad interpretation of the input string from the UI I’d say (it needs two a to make a good a
)
