For most of my PLEX DVRd shows, the interface does not divide the episodes into seasons. (It weirdly does it for some shows)
I have verified that the Seasons is set to ‘Show’ in the library itself. Plex shows the metadata on the show (e.g. it shows an episode is S2 E10), but both the TV Shows library page and the individual show pages show episode count rather than season count.
Verified Seasons settings on both the show page and the library page:
Friends doesn’t sort to seasons!
Some shows like Stargirl do sort to seasons, but Batwoman and Friends don’t:
All shows are recorded by Plex’s DVR, and metadata is set to TheTVDB. I verified the folder and filename structure is identical for the shows that do show seasons, and those that don’t:

–Season XX
----- Show name (YEAR) - SxxEyy - Episode title.ts
