Hello,
Is there a way for other Plex applications on the local network to see Windows Store App running on laptop as a player that can be remotely controlled with Android Plex application?
All possible Plex apps on Windows should be able to do this

(except Plex for Kodi)
Well, it’s not working in my case…
So, I have installed Plex for Windows from app store on my laptop. It’s connected via WiFi to router.
On my smartphone I have Plex installed. It’s also connected to my local network via WiFi.
Both appplications are logged in to my Plex Pass account.
When I run Plex app on my Android phone and when I try to find players to play content on none are liste.
How to debug what is the problem with my configuration?
Regards,
Mišel
If it is not working with the App store app, try Plex Media Player or the Web app instead.
I’ve used Plex App from store because it supports sync option as it should.
If I remember correctly, Plex Media Player and Webb app do not support that feature. Am I wrong?
That is correct.
But the Window sapp is currently not maintained, so that bugs don’t get resolved. If you need the companion playback, resorting to one of the other apps is your best option.
