Plex App can't connect with Plex for Windows, but will connect with Server

I have an android app, and until about a month ago I was able to connect with Plex for Windows without a problem. Now the app says that there are no players found. What is interesting is, that if I double click on Server icon, so that it opens in Chrome, my app succesfully finds the Chrome Player. Also, Plex for Windows can connect and finds my Android app, but not vice versa. Both the Server and the Player are running on the same PC.

Note: Your local web client still shows up as a companion player because it’s an older version embedded with the server; the release notes linked refer to the hosted web client. The embedded client will eventually catch up though.

Oh my god thank you so much I thought it was something wrong with my setup, I tried to find a solution but never saw that it was the end of the support at fault. I installed the HTPC and it works! Thanks again!
