Select Players menu no longer shows Android phone or LG WebOS TV after server update

Server Version#: 1.16.5.1554 (Windows)
Player Version#: Android (7.20.0.11992)

When I first installed Plex I could click on “Select Player” and find my Android phone and LG WebOS TV as options to fling. I updated the server version and now the phone and TV no longer appear as players

  • Both phone and TV are authorized devices
  • Both phone and TV have “Advertise as player” enabled
  • Plex server is configured on a private network in Windows
  • Plex server network option for secure connections is “preferred”
  • Plex server network option for enable local network discovery (GDM) is checked
  • Using secure Plex Chrome webpage, https://app.plex.tv/desktop?
  • I’ve tried Windows firewall off for both private and public networks

All that does work is selecting the player “Chrome Plex Web” from my phone, TV, and Plex Media Player. But this just starts the video on the Chrome browser of my Windows machine (Plex Media Server).

What am I missing? Specific network ports? Why has my phone and TV disappeared as options when clicking on “Select Player”?

Exact same thing happen to me after the last update. NO ROKU TV shows up. It is there but no longer available (all it shows is cast). WT hell…
