Selecting Plex on Samsung TV results in "Connecting..." and locks up the TV

Plex installs successfully on Samsung TV and accesses all libraries.

However, When I turn the TV off and back on, selecting Plex again results in “Connecting…” and never changes. It also locks up the TV with the only resolution to power it off again. This worked fine until recently. TV and server are hard wired to network. I recently changed the router to Google WIFI. My Samsung phone and tablet still connect just fine.
