Separate music/video player apps

Is there anything in the works that might allow the separation of the app (Android) capabilities so that there are separate apps for music, video, photos etc?

 

I find myself using Google Play Music if I'm using Plex for Android to watch videos, as otherwise I lose the position of whatever music I was listening to. It would be great to simply pause the Plex Music app and come back to it when I've watched a video using Plex Video (for example).

I want to add a delayed "Me Too" to this.

For me, the primary reason is that the main Plex App is too general purpose to be a music player. It is much clunkier to navigate than any other music app on my phone. A dedicated music app can skip the video/library selection screens and take me right to where I want to go.

Phew, thought I was alone :slight_smile: Would be good to see some more support from the community for this.
