I have a weird niche problem that I assume not everyone here will face. I use 2-3 tuners under one server in 3 seperate location and overseas.
Yes it’s easier to manage one server vs launching 3 seperate Plex servers imo.
A - I want the ability to split one tuner into a seperate library instead of all my tuners being shoved into one category.
B - If I have multiple tuners in one I can assign said tuner to that existing library.
It would resolve said issues below but I recently started using Plex DVR regularly and it’s VERY limited. But there’s potential, like adding TV Everywhere support (cmon guys it’s a standard >:O)
A - When different channels have the same channel number across regions. (IE the regional channel lineup is respected and doesn’t clash with other tuners)
B - Easier when you just want to browse. Just a specific tuner vs having to dig thru the mess that it’s displayed atm. It makes the grid VERY VERY messy especially because we can’t edit the channel numbers.
