More control/visibility on live tv/dvr with multiple tuners

I’ve used plex since there has been a plex but am a total noob to live tv/dvr so be gentle.
I have two older machines running plex server under windows 10 my clients are mostly Fire cube’s 2nd gen fire box and a fire tv and an xbox one I’ll use occasionally but I don’t think the clients are what is lacking.
In short on one of my servers I have added 2 tuners a mygica 618b and a hauppauge xbox one (device manager displays is at a 955q b.t.w.) and am LOVING it.
But… you knew there was going to be a but didn’t you  I’d really like to have more granularity in live tv as to what tuner records or is used when I want to live view. One of them picks up a few stations the other doesn’t so when scheduling a recording, browsing the guid and selecting something to view live and for that matter in the dvr schedule It would be super handy to have some insight into which tuner is being used AND to be able to select a specific tuner for actions I’m taking in viewing live or scheduling a recording. Bonus points if I could edit the tuner when editing an upcoming recording. Maybe even a way to prefer one tuner over the other if both available for whatever job is at hand??
Yes I’d love to put up a really quality outside antenna with an amplified splitter but that isn’t practical presently and I’d bet I’m not the only suburbanite using a couple of indoor antennas.

A homerun isn’t in the budget and when I tried two of the same mygica on one server it got quite confused even though in device manager it is quite obvious which one is which they are on separate usb controllers.

So in short the ability to pick a tuner for a job on a plex server with multiple tuners PLEASE.

Thank you in advance for all the input I’m certain to get. I’ve lurked here for ages and have seen a lot of folks helping one another
