Server being inaccessible due to wrong IP address data in users

Server Version#: 1.41.8.9834
Player Version#:
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

Previously working correctly I recently noticed on one of my TVs server is unreachable. Started to dig and noticed that GET requests look to be made to a docker like IP address which I have never used:

`https://172-27-0-1.f1ff88c783fe48019cd4725888b2225c.plex.direct:32400/media/providers?X-Plex-Product=Plex%20Web&X-Plex-Version=4.146.0&X-Plex-Client-Identifier=\[redacted\]&X-Plex-Platform=Microsoft%20Edge&X-Plex-Platform-Version=142.0&X-Plex-Features=external-media%2Cindirect-media%2Chub-style-list&X-Plex-Model=bundled&X-Plex-Device=Windows&X-Plex-Device-Name=Microsoft%20Edge&X-Plex-Device-Screen-Resolution=2560x753%2C2560x1440&X-Plex-Token=\[redacted\]&X-Plex-Language=en&X-Plex-Session-Id=\[redacted\]\`

Meanwhile when I use my main account urls are correct:

`https://78-130-219-153.6f679605641345b5ab1c2c070deb0adb.plex.direct:32400/media/providers?X-Plex-Product=Plex%20Web&X-Plex-Version=4.146.0&X-Plex-Client-Identifier=\[redacted\]&X-Plex-Platform=Microsoft%20Edge&X-Plex-Platform-Version=142.0&X-Plex-Features=external-media%2Cindirect-media%2Chub-style-list&X-Plex-Model=bundled&X-Plex-Device=Windows&X-Plex-Device-Name=Microsoft%20Edge&X-Plex-Device-Screen-Resolution=1920x322%2C1920x1080&X-Plex-Token=\[redacted\]&X-Plex-Language=en&X-Plex-Session-Id=\[redacted\]\`

Since I have few accounts added with access to the libraries (moms, sister, dad etc) I noticed that all of them have this problem. To me looks like their accounts have cached some wrong IP address of the server and requests time out leaving them without access. Is there a way I can fix that? I’ve already tried to remove these accounts as friends and re-add them, also tried re-claming my server.

The 172.x.x.x. address is the local address of the server that has been shared with you.
That your TV is trying to access it is therefore to be expected. (clients will try to use the local address first)
So that is a red herring and has likely nothing to do with the inability to reach your local server.

Check that your server has been claimed into the right plex.tv user account.
And that the other user account has been granted access permission to it.

No, it’s not the local address of the server. This server has never been connected to such network. Also, any of the accounts I am trying to test with I do the test on the same computer where Plex Server runs. Even if your theory of being the address of the server is correct this would work.

I also double checked who is the server owner and who I shared with. Everything is correctly set. And it was working before for long time.
